Woodinville Crime Report: Identity Theft, Commercial Burglary

Here is a list of some of the reported crimes in the City of Woodinville from Jan. 14-21.

 1.  Commercial Burglary, 14000 blk of NE 183rd St.

Police responded to an alarm at the Apt. Complex guest services bldg and found the door had been pried open.  A white male with a black jacket and jeans was seen on video attempting to leave the building with a box containing a computer and a package.  Both were left just outside the door.

2.  Identity Theft-19500 blk of 159th Pl NE.

 The victim reports several attempts by an unknown suspect to open bank accounts in her name.

3.  Larceny, TFB-250- 14100 blk of NE 186th St.

The victim reported his wallet missing from his jacket pocket while hanging in the warehouse area, believing it was stolen by a coworker.

4. Larceny, TFA+250 - 15500 block of Woodinville Redmond Rd.

Unknown suspect(s) stole the victim’s catalytic converter from the company vehicle while parked outside overnight.

5.  Prowler, Vehicle- 18700 block of 142nd Ave NE.

The victim reported an unknown suspect attempted to break in to the company vehicle by prying the window but caused damage only.  Nothing was taken.

6.  Larceny, TFA -250 – 17400 block of 131st Ave NE.

Unknown suspect broke out the victim’s car window and stole a purse and some clothing that had been sitting on the front seat.

7.  Prowler, Vehicle – 18700 block of 142nd Ave NE.

The victim reported damage to a window and the door of the company vehicle.  It appears entry was not made and nothing was stolen.  This is the second incident reported at this business this month. 

8. Larceny, – 20200 block of 144th Ave NE

Unknown suspects cut the catalytic converter from the victim’s vehicle some time overnight.

9.  Larceny, – 16100 block of Woodinville Redmond Rd.

The victim reported the catalytic converter cut from the vehicle and a solar panel removed from the open bed of the truck.

10.   Vandalism – 17600 block of 140th Ave NE.

Employees reported the glass exterior doors of the credit union had been shattered with a metal sign attached to a metal pole overnight.  No video was available.

11.   Auto Theft- 17400 block of 133rd Ave NE.

The victim reported his vehicle stolen after parking it in the apt. lot while visiting overnight.  The vehicle was found the next day 3 blocks away however the victim’s gym bag, coat and iPod were missing from inside.

12.   Larceny, 17600 block of Garden Way NE

Unknown suspect(s) pried the door locks from the victim’s vehicle and stole a cell phone and garage door opener from inside.

 13.   Fraud- 18025 Garden Way NE

A store employee counting money from the previous day sales found a counterfeit $100 dollar bill in the cash drawer.  They are attempting to recover video for the Detective.

 14.   Larceny, 14100 block of NE 189th St.

Unknown suspect(s) siphoned gas from three commercial vehicles overnight.

 15.   Robbery, Chain Store- 13800 block of NE 175th St.

A Hispanic male wearing a dark hoodie and armed with a handgun robbed Jamba Juice employees by demanding the cash from the registers.  The suspect had a bandana over the lower part of his face and is believed to be the serial armed robber associated with over 20 robberies in the area over the past two weeks.  King County Sheriff’s Major Crimes is investigating.  There was no identified video from any of the retail establishments in the area.
