The commissioners were originally going to meet in Woodinville but now are meeting in LaConner.
The is having a special meeting retreat, Saturday, April 7, to discuss the future of the fire district. The meeting is at the LaConner Channel Lodge, 205 N. First Street, LaConner, Washington, starting at 8:30 a.m.
