UPDATE: Woodinville Man Missing, Friends Worried

Scott Cleeton was last seen by his roommates on Saturday night.

UPDATE: 12:20 p.m. Jan. 27, According to Det. Kelly Wiloth from the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office, preliminary reports indicate Cleeton may have left on his own. But the case is still under investigation and if anyone has information, call Det. Wiloth at 425-388-3339.

Friends of Woodinville resident Scott Cleeton, are asking for help locating him. Cleeton was last seen Saturday night Jan. 21, when he had dinner with Merry and Cyril Colbeck, Scott rented a room at the couple’s farm near . He said he would be attending church on Sunday; he attend the, but he did not show up. When he was still missing by Monday, the Colbeck’s filed a missing person’s report with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the Colbeck’s, Scott was to travel by train Monday to Arizona to start a new job at AeroTech. He had been working for the company in Kirkland and was transferring to Arizona to help care for Cyril’s mother. When the couple went to his room Monday morning they found him gone, but his belongings still there, neatly packed for the move. All that was missing was the backpack friends say he usually takes everywhere.

He may have been spotted at the Albertsons in Woodinville on Sunday morning but there have been no other sightings. Patch was unable to reach a public information officer at the Sheriff’s office but will update the story when we have more information.
