City Loses Development of Services Director

Hal Hart is no longer Woodinville’s top development staff member, today is his last day according to the city.

Hal Hart’s last day as Woodinville’s Development Services Director is today, April 30. Neither Hart nor city officials would give any details of the abrupt departure. Assistant to the City Manager Alexandra Sheeks would only confirm Hart’s leaving and said it was a mutual decision.

Hart came to Woodinville in 2007, after serving in Whatcom County as development services director for seven years. The city is already accepting applications for a new director, job candidates can apply online at https://www.govjobstoday.com/Jobs/JobAnnouncement.aspx?jid=1605

What a sad loss for the City. Hal Hart was one of those people who was woven into the community and had a face, demeanor and air of openness and approachability. Hal was reasonable and you always felt he was listening to your comments. I wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.

Ditto, Susan - Hal was one who always listened. Good trait for public servants.
