Convergence Zone Descending on Woodinville, Bringing Snow

Weather service says a Convergence Zone has formed over Snohomish and northeast King County bringing heavier snow Tuesday morning than expected.

Now... A Broad Convergence Zone Sitting Across Western Snohomish County And North King County Is Enhancing. This Band Extends From About Stanwood Southward To Edmonds And Lake Forest Park And Eastward Into The Cascades. A Quick 2 To 3 Inches Of Snow Can Be Expected Between 1030 Am And Noon. With Temperatures Falling To Near Freezing In This Area...Untreated Roadways Will Become Rapidly Coated With Snow And Treated Roadways Like I-5 And I-405 May Become Briefly Snow Or Slush Covered.Β
