Council to Review Old Woodinville School House Rehab Options Tuesday

The Woodinville City Council will receive an update of the Old Woodinville Schoolhouse rehabilitation design feasibility study and review current options for rehabilitation at a regular meeting Tuesday, July 2.

Since April 2013, the City has been working with BLRB Architects to study possible rehabilitation options for the Old Woodinville Schoolhouse in preparation for a possible capital bond measure to be place before voters in April 2014.

The City held open houses on May 16 and on June 19 to receive comments from the public about potential uses of the Schoolhouse and connections to the Civic Center site.

On July 2, BLRB will provide an update about its work to date, summarize the input received from the community open houses, and offer the City Council opportunity to mix and match different project elements.

The council is also scheduled to vote on an ordinance that would reduce the Emergency Preparedness and Public Safety Commission from 7 to 5 voting members.
