First McKenna-Inslee Gubernatorial Debate Tuesday: Here's How to Watch

The first gubernatorial debate between candidates Rob McKenna and Jay Inslee will be on Tuesday in Spokane, but you can watch live on TVW. Here's how.

 

The Association of Washington Business will host the first Washington gubernatorial debate between former Congressman Jay Inslee (D) and State Attorney General Rob McKenna (R) on Tuesday at the group's annual Spring Meeting in Spokane.

If you're not a member of the Association of Washington Business, or you can't make it to Spokane, you'll be able to watch the debate live at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 12 on TVW, which will also broadcast the debate on tvw.org. On the Eastside, TVW is on Comcast channel 23 and Broadstripe channel 95.

The debate will be moderated by KUOW public radio reporter Austin Jenkins, Olympia correspondent for the Northwest News Network, according to the Association of Washington Business news release. 

The gubernatorial debate will be preceded by a state Attorney General debate at 2 p.m., between candidates Reagan Dunn (R) and Bob Ferguson (D), who are both King County Council members.

The Seattle Times reports that the Association of Washington Business is expected to endorse McKenna on Wednesday.
