It's Construction Season in Woodinville, Expect Traffic Delays

Here is a list of road construction in the city in August and September.

How does it go? To everything there is a season? Well August is road construction and repair season in Woodinville. The rain is gone and the road crews are out in full force trying to get everything in shape before fall.

King County is overlaying NE Woodinville-Duvall Road until Aug. 31 with wait times as long as 15 minutes, according to the signs.

Overlay is a structural improvement that applies two-inches of new asphalt over the existing roadway providing drivers with a smooth new surface, and reduces maintenance costs while extending the life of the roadway, according to the city. Over the next several weeks, roads throughout the city will get a spruce.
