Lawsuit Against Bothell Mayor Dismissed
Married Bothell Mayor Mark Lamb, who admitted a sexual relationship with a former law firm employee, has had a related lawsuit against him dismissed.
A lawsuit accusing Bothell Mayor Mark Lamb of wrongful termination related to an affair with a former employee has been dismissed, according to a report in the Everett Herald.
Lamb, 40, and the woman who filed the lawsuit, Micaela Mae, 23, both agreed to the dismissal, the Herald reports.
Mae brought the suit in Snohomish County Superior Court in late October, claiming Lamb fired her from her paralegal job at the law firm after their two-year affair ended in 2012. Mae, who also named Lamb's wife and law firm in the suit, sought damages for the termination, invasion of privacy, lost wages and emotional distress.

In Lamb's reponse to the suit, filed in November, he admitted to a sexual relationship with Mae but denied other claims made in Mae’s suit. The Lambs also filed a counterclaim requesting that the suit be dismissed and Mae pay all court and attorney fees, the Bothell Reporter said.
Lamb has been mayor of Bothell since 2006.
