New Census Data Shows an 18.9 Percent Population Growth in Woodinville

The new data is for the City of Woodinville.

The City of Woodinville’s population growth increased nearly 19 percent between 2000 and 2010, according to new data released by the U.S. Census Bureau on Wednesday. Data on unincorporated King County, designated Woodinville, is not yet available.

The city’s population grew from 9,194 in 2000, to 10,938 in 2010, an increase of 1,744 people, or 18.9 percent.

Washington’s six most populous cities remained unchanged. Those cities are, respectively: Seattle, Spokane, Tacoma, Vancouver, Bellevue and Everett.

King County is still the most populated county in the state, with 1,931,249 people, up from 1,737,034 in the 2000 census. That is an increase in population of 11.2 percent.
