Pregler Named to Woodinville City Council

Art Pregler was voted unanimously to finish the term vacated by former mayor Chuck Price.

At a special meeting Monday, Oct. 3, the Woodinville City Council appointed Art Pregler to fill the position vacant since the resignation of former Mayor Chuck Price in July 2011.

Pregler has been a resident of Woodinville for six years and previously served on the City’s Planning Commission, Sustainable Development Citizen Advisory Panel, Design Review Subcommittee, and Downtown Master Plan Subcommittee. Pregler’s professional background spans a variety of positions in California and Washington related to land use planning and capital project management, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in environmental design, and a number of graduate degrees in management and systems planning.

resigned from the  July 31 because a new job took him out of the area. Price’s term expires Dec. 31, 2013. Pregler will be sworn into office on Oct. 4 at the regular meeting of the City Council at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 17301 133rd Ave NE.
