Public Hearings on State Pot Rules Set for Aug. 6 in Everett, Seattle
The Washington State Liquor Control Board recently approved 42 pages of rules for marijuana legalization.
Two public hearings will be held Aug. 6 in Seattle and in Everett to give community members an opportunity to weigh in on proposed rules for marijuana legalization in Washington state.

The plan is set to be adopted on Aug. 14 and go into effect on Sept. 16, the same day the state would begin accepting license applications for the newly legal industry.
