So, What’s Up at the City Council Meeting This Week?

Trying to determine if you should attend the council meeting Tuesday night? Here is an overview of what's on the agenda.

Woodinville City Council members will discuss changing city law so a non-motorized  boat launch could be place along Sammamish Slough at . The idea is to have a place where families can rent a canoe or kayak and paddle in the gentle waters of the slough, according to Alexandra Sheeks, assistant to the city manager.

The council will also consider adopting language for how to approve electric charging stations. The state requires all cities to have ordinances in place for the electric car charging stations.

Also on the agenda is the idea of whether the council should begin holding Town Hall meetings as a way to engage with the public, this was discussed at the May 3 meeting and is back for council approval.
