Original post: Mark your calendars and plan your routes—the State Route 520 Bridge will be closed all weekend for construction, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

Crews plan to transfer eastbound lanes between Evergreen Point Road and 92nd Avenue Northeast to the south, to make room for construction on the other side of the highway.

During the closure, drivers will have to find another way across or around Lake Washington from 11 p.m. Friday, March 15, until 5 a.m. Monday, March 18. All lanes and ramps will be closed between Montlake Boulevard in Seattle and Interstate 405 in Bellevue.

When the work is complete Monday morning, crews will re-open the eastbound freeway transit stop at 92nd Avenue Northeast. The stop has been closed since summer 2012 for 520 construction.
