TRAFFIC ALERT: NE Woodinville-Duvall Construction

The city will be conducting geotechnical borings on Woodinville-Duvall Road Oct. 26-28.

Geotechnical borings will be performed on Woodinville-Duvall Road on October 26, 27, and 28 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Work will be performed between 156th Avenue NE and east City limits at 171st Place NE. Flaggers will be on-site to ensure school buses are not delayed to and from school.

Geotechnical borings provide soil information that will be used to engineer retaining walls in conjunction with the Woodinville-Duvall Road Widening Project. Fifteen (15) borings will be performed at random locations between 156th Avenue NE and 171st Place NE on the Woodinville-Duvall Road.

The Woodinville-Duvall Road Widening Project will expand the existing two-lane roadway to a three-lane roadway. The third lane provides a center turn lane. Additional work includes the construction of curbs, gutters, and sidewalks for both sides of the roadway with landscaping throughout the project.
