UPDATE: Two Incumbents Winning, One Challenger in the Lead for City Council

Hageman winning with more than twice the votes of challenger Taylor. Rubstello has lead over Glickman. Aspen has garnered the most votes in the race.

In the race for Woodinville City Council incumbents Liz Aspen and Scott Hageman are winning with incumbent Jeff Glickman behind challenger Les Rubstello, according to results released by King County Elections Wednesday afternoon.

Hageman has doubled his lead over challenger Al Taylor with 1180 votes, or 66.3% to Taylor’s 588 votes, or 33%. Liz Aspen has1286 votes or 88.2% with 172 votes going to write-ins. Nancy Montgomery launched a last minute write-in campaign against Aspen, but never registered with the county elections office, so her name is not in official candidate results.

Elections will post results at 4:30 p.m. each week day on the Elections website until election certification on Nov. 29. Voters can also use the ballot tracker feature on the website to confirm that Elections received their ballot for processing.
