What's Open and Closed on Fourth of July

Government offices are closed Monday.

Monday is the Fourth of July. Here's a look at what's open and closed.

If you are traveling for the holiday weekend, check out the Washington State Department of Transportation web pages to plan your route. You can expect heavy traffic along Interstate 90 at Snoqualmie Pass, U.S. 2 at Stevens Pass, Interstate 5 near the U.S./Canadian border and I-5 between Olympia and Tacoma.

City of Woodinville: Closed.

King County government: Closed.

King County Library System: Closed.

King County Transfer Stations: Open normal hours.

State of Washington: Closed.

State liquor stores: The Woodinville store at 13317 N.E. 175th St. will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Grocery stores: , and are on normal hours.

Washington State Ferries: All routes will operate on a holiday schedule.

Federal government (including the U.S. Postal Service): Closed.

Banks: Many, if not most, will be closed. Check your local branch.

Garbage and Recycling: Waste Management service will operate on a normal schedule.
