Where to Drop Off Your Election Ballot in King County

Election ballot boxes are open 24-hours a day until 8 p.m. Election Day, Nov. 6.

If you prefer to return your ballot without paying for a first class stamp, you can still pop it in one of the election ballot boxes in King County open 24-hours a day until 8 p.m. Election Day, Nov. 6. 

By law, ballots cannot be accepted at ballot drop boxes after 8 p.m. on Election Day.

Ballot drop-off vans also will be available on Nov. 5 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Election Day, Nov. 6, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Closest to Woodinville is a drop box at Redmond City Hall, 15670 NE 85th Street, Redmond, WA, 98052, or ballot drop-off van at Kirkland City Hall, 123 5th Avenue, Kirkland, WA, 98033.

Before dropping off your ballot, instructions on the King County website say: Carefully follow the instructions on the ballot envelope. Place the ballot in the security envelope, seal all envelopes, sign the outer envelope, and deposit your ballot packet into the box.
