Woodinville Council Candidate Forum Oct. 20

The is sponsoring a Woodinville City Council Candidate forum at its Monthly Business Luncheon on October 20.  The goal of the event is to provide the business community an opportunity to learn the candidates’ positions on issues that are important to businesses in Woodinville.

The forum will be moderated by Annie Archer, editor of Woodinville Patch. In addition to brief opening and closing statements, each candidate will be asked questions designed to encourage specific answers and to give them each equal opportunity to express their views. While questions will not be taken from the audience, the business community is welcome to submit suggestions before October 10, 2011.

The Monthly Business Luncheon is set for October 20, 2011, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Madrona Room at the Carol Edwards Center; 17401-133rd Ave NE. The candidate forum is open to the public, the cost to attend is $25 for chamber members and $30 for non-members, the cost includes lunch. Reservations are required and may be made online before 5 p.m. Monday, October 17 at www.woodinvillechamber.org.
