Woodinville Wants Public Input on Future Improvement Projects

The City of Woodinville is seeking input from the community about needed capital improvements, such as roads, parks, sidewalks, and storm water improvements, to be included in its six-year Capital Improvement Plan for 2013 – 2018.  To submit your ideas on future projects you would like to see in Woodinville, visit our on-line comment form at http://www.ci.woodinville.wa.us/ContactUs/Capital_Project_Nomination.asp.

A capital improvement project is a major, one-time expenditure for roads, non-motorized transportation infrastructure, parks, storm water infrastructure, and other City facilities with an estimated useful life of five or more years and a total cost of $50,000 or more.  The CIP, which is updated every two years, is used to identify the City’s priorities and to manage the physical development of the community consistently with the City’s expected revenue and with its Comprehensive Plan.
