Woodinville Water District Board President Resigns

Ken Goodwin, president of the Woodinville Water District Board of Commissioners, has resigned.

The president of the Woodinville Water District Board of Commissioners has resigned.

Commissioner Ken Goodwin is building a home in Anacortes and moving out of the district, according to the Woodinville Weekly. Goodwin has been a commissioner for approximately 17 years. (Read his candidate profile by clicking here.) Commissioners must live in the district to serve on the five-member board.

Commissioner Karen Steeb is now president of the board.

The water district is seeking applicants to fill the vacant position. The person selected will be appointed by the board for a term ending Dec. 31, 2015.

Applicants must live in the geographic boundaries of the district at least 30 days before appointment and be properly registered to vote in the district.

Interested applicants should submit a resume and Letter of Interest to the district no later than 4:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5, 2013.
