Interviews will be conducted at a special meeting of the Board of Commissioners at 2 p.m. Aug. 27, 2013.

Out of 10 people who applied for the vacant position on the Woodinville Water District Board of Commissioners, two will be interviewed for the position, according to water district officials.

Pao-Tsun "Paj" Hwang and Tyler T. Norwood are the finalists. Others who applied are: William Bogdan, Jim Dunlap, William Guenzler, Alan J. Keefe, Dale Knapinski, Michael Lucarelli, Timothy L. Schriever and Henry "Hank" Stecker.

The vacancy comes after former board president Ken Goodwin resigned in July because he is moving out of the district. Goodwin was on the board for 17 years.

The person selected will be appointed by the board for a term ending Dec. 31, 2015.

Applicants must live in the geographic boundaries of the district at least 30 days before appointment and be properly registered to vote in the district.
