Earn Target Gift Cards for Local Schools

is currently running a promotion in which K-12 schools can earn gift cards when people vote for them online through a Facebook app.

For every 25 votes that a school receives, Target will award that school a $25 gift card, which can be used to purchase items like books or school supplies. To participate, simply visit the site, find an eligible school through the search tool, and vote. 

Individual schools can earn up $10,000 in gift cards, and the promotion has proven quite popular with nearly 1,000,000 votes already cast.

The promotion will come to an end on September 8, or when Target has awarded $2.5 million in gift cards, whichever comes first.
