21 Acres Green Choices & Mindful Shopping

Green Choices - how people can save money (now and in the future) by making good decisions about products, methods, and designs. Includes a mini-tour of building in the session highlighting some of the choices your team made.

Instructor: Terry Phelan, Living Shelter

Phelan is an architect with a depth of experience designing with many different materials that are both proven and sustainable. Since 1997 she has been giving strawbale workshop trainings and is now invited regularly to speak
at regional conferences such as Cascadia Green Building Council’s Living Future and Built Green. In 2009, Terry became the host of The Living Shelter Cafe, an interview style internet radio talk show on sustainable design & building options. It is now broadcast on community radio as The Eco-Logical Home.
