Everyday Uses for Lavender and Lavender Oil Distillation Demonstration

Featuring Lavender Farmers Steve Ragsdale, Sunshine Lavender Farm and Mike Shirkey, Port Williams Lavender, both destinations on Sequim’s Lavender Farm Faire Tour.

The oil from this highly fragrant plant can be used in many creative ways - from baking and cooking to household cleaning and personal hygiene to pet care. Steve and Mike will share ways to use lavender when entertaining along with some of their favorite beverage and baking recipes. The farmers will demonstrate the lavender oil distilling process, and showcase artisan lavender products made on Sequim farms. The popular Sequim Lavender Festival is July 20-22.
