Family Issues With Aging Parents

Bear Creek United Methodist Church is hosting a free class covering the challenges of communicating with aging parents and the other caregivers involved; including siblings, spouses, in-laws and
extended family.  Led by Samaritan Counseling’s Laurence Hill, this
workshop will include some conflict resolution skills to assist in dealing with all who are concerned; the parents receiving increased care, family members, and other caregivers.

Family dynamics can be stressed in situations where a parent needs long-term care.  Being able to communicate expectations and concerns can avoid damaged relationships and sabotaging wise
decisions.

This is an opportunity to talk and share as well as learn valuable coping skills.

This class is provided to the community through special funding via Bear Creek United Methodist Church. 

This is a free class. There is no fee to participate.
