Savvy Gardener Class on Natural Yard Care and Master Gardener Clinic

The next class in the Savvy Gardener series being held at Woodinville Water District is, "Natural Yard Care". This class will be taught by Ladd Smith, co-founder of In Harmony Sustainable Landscapes, a provider of organic based landscape services.  Ladd is an energetic, entertaining and very knowledgeable speaker.  You will learn how you can have a great looking landscape that’s easier to care for and healthier for families, pets, wildlife, and our great Northwest environment.

Attendance is free, but pre-registration is necessary due to space limitations.  You can register at www.brownpapertickets.com or by calling Woodinville Water District's Public Information Office at 425-487-4102.  This class is one of many being offered in the Puget Sound Region that are sponsored by the Saving Water Partnership and Cascade Water Alliance.  If you would like more information about these classes, please call Woodinville Water District's Public Information Office at 425-487-4102.

A Master Gardener Clinic will also be held for a half hour prior to and after the class.  You can come to the Master Gardener Clinic even if you are not able to attend the class.  The Master Gardener Clinic is staffed by WSU Extension Master Gardeners who will be available to answer your gardening questions.  Master Gardeners are volunteers, trained by WSU, to provide research-based information to home gardeners on environmentally friendly gardening practices and safe pest control.  Attendees are encouraged to bring samples of diseased plants or pest specimens (in a plastic bag or other container) for identification or diagnosis including recommendations on how to deal with them in the least toxic way.  If you cannot come in person, you can also email questions to the Master Gardeners E-Clinic at ask-a-mastergardener@live.com

We’ve removed the ability to reply as we work to make improvements. Learn more here
