Breakdown: No one was sure what Woodinville would do this season, but the Falcons have proven to be one of the top teams in the state in 4A, now ranked ninth by the Seattle Times. Woodinville is 6-0, but its record does not quite tell the tale of its dominance. The Falcons have allowed just 35 points all season, while posting three shutouts and are averaging over 38 points per game themselves. While Bothell is not the same team it has been in recent years, Woodinville’s 24-14 victory over them last week was a big step for the program. Running back Alec Schwend continued his strong season with 153 rushing yards against Bothell, while quarterback Brett Arrivey has thrown eight touchdown passes on the year. Next up for Woodinville is rival Inglemoor, which is 4-2 on the season after a 27-7 win over Roosevelt last week. The Vikings should be Woodinville’s toughest test since the week one win over Mount Si.
Patch Pick: Woodinville 28, Inglemoor 21.
