Judges Need for Science Competition at Woodinville High School

Northshore Schools Foundation is seeking judges for BIOEXPO.

 

The Northshore Schools Foundation is seeking judges for our BIOEXPO based on the Northwest Association for Biomedical Reaserch criteria. The expo is May 22 at Woodinville High School.

Adults who have a basic understanding of biology and who have skills in Website development, Multimedia production, creative writing and journalistic writing, among other categories, are needed. The Northshore Schools Foundation has identified the Biomedical pathway as a key aspect of their STEM priority that supports both students and local industry and has partnered with the school district to sponsor this event.

Judges will visit two to three pre-assigned booths during each 25 minute wave for a total of up to six projects. Judges will receive a full description by email of each project one week prior to the event for their review. During booth visits, students will provide an oral 5 minute presentation to the judge and are to be available for any questions.  Judging criteria by category is available at this site: http://www.nwabr.org/community/student-bio-expo/judges/category-requirements
