Woodinville has hired Mark Folsom as the school's new boys' varsity basketball coach, according to the Seattle Times.
Folsom, who spent six seasons as an assistant coach at Boise State, Portland State and Seattle Pacific, returns to the school where he graduated in 1992.
Folsom replaces Jamie Rowe, who left for the head job at Lake Washington.
"I really want to come in and bring a different energy and a different focus and really kind of change the culture to where the basketball kids view themselves as basketball guys," Folsom told the Times. "Woodinville is kind of known as a football powerhouse in this area. I want our basketball kids to carry that same swag, I guess."
