Northshore Junior High Band to Perform at National Conference

The Northshore Junior High School Symphonic Band, under the direction of Rick White, has been selected to perform at the 2013 National Association for Music Education (NAfME) All-Northwest Conference in Portland, OR.

The Northshore Junior High School Symphonic Band, under the direction of Rick White, has been selected to perform at the 2013 National Association for Music Education (NAfME) All-Northwest Conference, Feb. 14-17, in Portland, OR, and will be featured in the opening Concert Hour at the Oregon Convention Center on Friday, Feb. 15.

The 47-member ensemble was selected by audition from schools representing the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and Alaska. This is the highest regional honor a performing group can earn from NAfME.

Way to go, Northshore! Titans Rule! All Northwest, wow; what an honor. Was at All Northwest in Spokane in the spring of 1961. Still one of my fondest memories of A. C. Davis High School music dept. You're going to have a ball. Congratulations to you all.
