Northshore School District Fastpitch Teams Headed to State

Woodinville Lady Falcons also honored as State Academic Champs.

 

Did you know that all three Northshore School District high school fastpitch teams are headed to the state tournament? The , Bothell Lady Cougs and the Inglemoor Vikings placed first, second and third respectively in the 4A KingCo fastpitch tournament and will match up against 13 other high school teams the 2012 WIAA 4A State Fastpitch tournament, May 25-26, at Dwight Merkel Sports Complex in Spokane, Wash.

Bothell matches up Friday against Bellarmine Prep of Tacoma at 10 a.m., Woodinville takes on South Kitsap and Inglemoor plays Rogers of Puyallup, both games at noon.

Woodinville’s fastpitch team is not just ranked number one in the state and are the KingCo 4A league and tournament champions, but the Lady Falcons were recently honored as the 2012 WA State 4A Spring Academic Champions. The team maintained a 3.722 grade point average while achieving a perfect fastpitch season record of 22-0.
