School District Receives $20,000 Grant from Northshore Schools Foundation

The Northshore School District plans to use the money to purchase books for elementary classroom libraries.

Northshore School District received a $20,000 grant from the Northshore Schools Foundation for elementary classroom library books, according to the district. The funds were used to purchase over 5,700 books to help 19 new Northshore elementary school teachers build their classroom libraries. Each teacher received approximately 300 new books.

The Northshore Schools Foundation is a non-profit organization that supports programs and partnerships to enhance learning opportunities for Northshore students.
