WHS Events: May 16-20

Calling all volunteers, the WHS Music Boosters need help!

For the school week of May 16-20, there are many opportunities for Woodinville High School students to go to club events happening throughout the week.

The WHS Music Boosters are looking to find 10-12 responsible students to work the night of the POPs concert.  It is a fun formal night with great music.  The commitment would be to arrive at 6:20 p.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2011 for the orientation and instruction, you have to wear black and white attire at the event, and clear the tables after the event. You will receive community hours and while at the event, you will greet the guests as they come in, help pour their water, clear debris on the tables, bring out fresh water pitchers, then when the event is over, help bring dirty plates to kitchen.

 Monday, May 16:

  •  A well deserved rest day for sports and clubs!  

 Tuesday, May 17:

  • The Video Production Club is meeting after school in room 605. The club will be meeting every Tuesday and Wednesday.
  • The Anime Club is meeting after school until 3:30 p.m. in room 605.
  • The Varsity Girls Softball Team has a game at 6:30 p.m. at the Woodinville Fastpitch Field against Juanita High School.

Wednesday, May 18:

  • The Video Production Club is meeting after school in room 605.
  • The Game Club meets right after school until 3:30 p.m. in room 605.
  • Earth Club meets right after school as well!
  • French Club has a meeting after school in room 306. The country this month is Belgique.

 Thursday, May 19:

  • Math Tutoring is happening in room 312 from 2-3 p.m. Snacks are provided for the students in the class.
  • Honor Society is having their Induction Ceremony in the WHS Commons at 6:30p.m. Drinks and desserts will be served after the ceremony. 

Friday, May 20:

  • FBLA is having their awards dinner at 6:30 p.m. in the WHS Commons. Desserts will be served at this fun closing event!

Be sure to come out and show your support for all of the Woodinville sports teams. Also, for Woodinville students, try to make it to all of the club activities after school. Have a great week!
