UPDATE: WHS Wrestling Team Senior Night Set For Thursday
The team's annual senior night was moved from Jan. 26 to Thursday Jan. 19, then canceled because of the snow storm. Now it's back on for Jan. 26 at Woodinville.
Update: 9:30 a.m. Jan. 21, The Jan. 19 senior night match was canceled because of the snow storm. It is now rescheduled for Jan. 26 at WHS.
’s wrestling match set for Thursday, Jan. 19, is the last time the seniors have a chance to showcase their talents with the entire team at home.
“Seniors and their families will be honored in a brief ceremony before the match” according to Shaker Culpepper, team parent. “It’s something each senior wants to be a part of to show how hard they have worked for this moment.”

This year’s seniors are: Brian Beal (JV), Jason Burroughs (Captain), AJ DeDios (Captain), Jake Hollister (Captain), and Saul Toro (JV).
“Most of these kids have put in a lot of hard work, some for six years,” Culpepper said. “All the blood, sweat and tears they have poured out on these mats make their last home meet here is special.”

The match is at Woodinville High School. Weigh in is at 6:30 p.m. and the wrestling begins at 7:30 p.m.
