Wilder Elementary Kindergartener Places First in Chinese Scholastic Competition

Hannah Chen placed first in the Talent Show and Choral Reading portion of the competition.

Hannah Chen, a kindergartener at  placed first in the Talent Show and Choral Reading portion of the 2011 Chinese Scholastic Competition held in Seattle on March 13, 2011.

The Cultural Exploration of Greater China Foundation, the Chinese Language Teachers Association of Washington State and the Confucius Institute of the State of Washington sponsored the competition. Hannah received a certificate from the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI).
