Woodinville High School Events Calendar, Jan. 16-21

For the school week of Jan.16- 21, there are many opportunities for Woodinville High School students to go to some club meetings and sporting events that are happening throughout the week.

The Poetry Out Loud Recitation will be held in the WHS library on Thursday, Jan. 26, from 1:30 -4 p.m.  The winner of the recitation will represent WHS at regionals and have a chance to advance to the state competition.  One student at the state recitation will advance with an all paid trip to the POL National Recitation in Washington D.C.

Monday, Jan. 16:

• No school in honor of Martin Luther King Jr.
• The Varsity Girls Basketball Team has a non-conference game at 10:30 a.m. at Cleveland High School against Woodinville High School at the University of Washignton.

Tuesday, Jan. 17:

• WHS Christian Bible Study Club is meeting from 1:45 - 3:10 p.m. in room 250. 

• The C Boys Basketball Team has a conference game at 3:45 p.m. at Redmond High School against Newport High School.
• The Junior Varsity Boys Basketball Team has a conference game at 5:45 p.m. at Newport High School against Newport High School.
• The Varsity Boys Basketball Team has a conference game at 7:30 p.m. at Newport High School against Newport High School.

Wednesday, Jan. 18:

• The Spanish Club invites all Spanish students to their next event, Iron Chef Woodinville, which will be held on from 5:30- 7:30p.m. in the Commons. At this thrilling event, you will have an opportunity to put your cooking skills to the test and compete for the best tasting taco! 
• The Junior Varsity Girls Basketball Team has a conference game at 5:45 p.m. at Newport High School against Newport High School.
• The Varsity Wrestling Team has match at 7:30 p.m. against Redmond at Woodinville High School.
• The Varsity Girls Basketball Team has a conference game at 7:30 p.m. at Newport High School against Newport High School.

Thursday, Jan. 19:

• FBLA is having its monthly member meeting from 5:30-8:30 p.m. in the Commons. This meeting will be very informational and will help you prepare for the upcoming winter regional conference in February. Members will be reminded what events they are competing in and will have the opportunity to ask questions, practice, or get practice materials for their events. There will also be an ice cream social. This meeting also counts as a practice session.
• The Boys Varsity and JV Swim and Dive Team has a meet at 3:30 p.m. at the Redmond Pool against Eastlake High School.
• The Gymnastics Varsity and Junior Varsity Team has meet at 7 p.m. at Bothell High School against Skyline and Bothell High School.
• The Varsity Wrestling Team has match at 7:30 p.m. against Skyline at Woodinville High School.

Friday, Jan. 20:

• The Junior Varsity Girls Basketball Team has game at 3:30 p.m. at Inglemoor High School against Inglemoor High School.
• The Boys Basketball C Team has game at 3:45 p.m. at Woodinville High School against Inglemoor High School.
• The Junior Varsity Boys Basketball Team has game at 5 p.m. at Inglemoor High School against Inglemoor High School.
• The Varsity Girls Basketball Team has game at 6:30 p.m. at Inglemoor High School against Inglemoor High School.
• The Varsity Boys Basketball Team has game at 8:00 p.m. at Inglemoor High School against Inglemoor High School.

Saturday, Jan. 21:

• The Junior Varsity Girls Basketball Team has game at 3:30 p.m. at Woodinville High School against Bothell High School.
• The Junior Varsity Boys Basketball Team has game at 5 p.m. at Woodinville High School against Bothell High School.
• The Varsity Girls Basketball Team has game at 6:30 p.m. at Woodinville High School against Bothell High School.
• The Varsity Boys Basketball Team has game at 8 p.m. at Woodinville High School against Bothell High School.
