Woodinville High School Events Calender, Nov. 21-25

The clothing drive is still on and the weight room is now open for all students. Plus, WooHoo, a short week for the Thanksgiving holiday!

For the school week of Nov. 21-25, there are many opportunities for Woodinville High School students to go to some club meetings that are happening throughout the week.

The Honor Society annual clothing drive is here and will continue until Wednesday, Nov. 23. This year we will be donating all clothing items to Threads and Treads. Threads and Treads is a Free Clothing Bank of Northshore School District located at Canyon Park Junior High School. The service's main focus is clothing for school age to young adult (high school), and parents. They are hoping to get winter coats again this year!  If you would like to donate items for this drive, please bring all items to the Career Center before school and options. You can receive a maximum of three hours for this drive.

Monday, Nov. 21:

  • Coach Molitor will be opening the weight room up for general student use from 2-3 p.m. This will be a weekly re-occurrence from now on until the end of December.

Tuesday, Nov. 22:

  • The Anime Club is meeting after school in room 605.
  • A new club at WHS, Falcon Fellowship, is meeting in room 250A, Mr. Schindler’s room, from 1:45-3:10 p.m. This student run bible study meets after school every Tuesday and is open to anyone interested in joining!
  • The Video Production Club is meeting in room 605 from 1:45-3:15 p.m.
  • The Hiking Club is meeting after school in room 350. The club is open to all students who are interested in hiking and the great outdoors.
  • Drama Improv Match at the Intiman Theatre, 201 Mercer St., in Seattle at 7 p.m. Be sure to wear your green! There is a charge of $10 at the door.

Wednesday, Nov. 23:

  • The Earth Club is meeting about the Holiday Bazaar after school in room 138. Community service hours can be earned by attending this meeting. Please bring clean recyclables to Mr. Thurman in room 138 throughout the week.
  • The Game Club is meeting after school from 1:40 -2:20 p.m. in room 605.
  • Coach Molitor will be opening the weight room up for general student use from 2-3p.m. This will be a weekly re-occurrence from now on until the end of December.

Thursday, Nov. 24:

  • Thanksgiving Day
  • No School!

Friday, Nov. 25:

  • No School
