Woodinville High School Holiday Bazaar Saturday

Sponsored by the ASB, the bazaar is a fundraiser to offset costs for prom and the senior breakfast.

Santa’s helpers, also known as members of the ASB, are scrambling this week in preparation of Saturday’s Holiday Bazaar at the school.

The Dec. 3 event, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. in the high school commons, will have upwards of 40 vendors selling handmade holiday gifts, paper art, rubber stamps, hand-knit accessories, Zach's Gourmet Doggy Treats, Arbonne Skin Care, and several unique jewelry sellers. There will also be some arts and crafts project tables to keep the kids occupied, according to Erin Osgood, senior class president and organizer of the bazaar.

“Last year's bazaar made about $1,000 for the senior class, and this year we are on our way to exceeding that,” Erin wrote in an email to Woodinville Patch. “We are really excited to add in the Holiday Tree Decorating Contest and Silent Auction this year as a way to involve more than just our school and make this event a success for the entire community. We hope to see everyone there supporting Woodinville High School and local businesses."

The money raised from the bazaar goes to offset costs for the Class of 2012's Prom and Senior Breakfast to make tickets affordable for all students, Erin added.
