Woodinville High School Student to Study in Germany

Scott Morley received a scholarship from the German government to spend his senior year studying in Germany.

Scott Morley, Woodinville High School junior, is one of 250 students selected nationwide for the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange program. He received an $8,000 Congress-Bundestag scholarship from the German government to study in Germany for his senior year of high school.

The youth exchange program began in 1983 and has helped prepare young people for living in a global society. Their exchange year includes: orientation programs in Washington D.C and language instruction, meetings with German and American government officials, placement with a German host family, admission to a German high school and cultural and touring activities.

Morley will leave this summer and stay with a family in Aachen, Germany until next July.
