Woodinville High School Students Get Top Honors at Future Business Leaders of America Conference

Nine Woodinville students competed at the national conference, three garnered top honors.

Woodinville High School’s Andrew Munsell placed second in E-Business and the Woodinville team of Mary Cochran and Kenny Raymond placed seventh in Business Plan at the Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL) National Conference held at the end of June in Orlando, Fla. 

Woodinville’s FBLA Chapter sent nine competitors to the national conference. In addition to Munsell, Cochran and Raymond, team members included Alex Huff, Chris Logan, Joyce Tang, Anna Taylor, Kyle Tsai, and Mitch VandenBerg from Woodinville High School and Kevin Jin from Inglemoor High School.

"I am so proud of everyone who was involved with FBLA at Woodinville this year and I know we have another fun year ahead of us," said Kenny Raymond, Woodinville’s FBLA president.

Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda is the largest and oldest student business organization. Only the top two percent of FBLA members were able to compete at the national conference. Participants from around the nation sharpened their core business skills, expanded their networks, and participated in more than 55 business-related competitive events.
