The event is a chance to see student-directed one act plays performed by Woodinville High Schools drama students. Dramafest is not only a chance for the actors to showcase their talents, but an opportunity for would-be directors and casting agents to experience what it’s like to put on a production, according to Meghan McDonell, the student publicity head for the school’s theater company.
The Best of the Fest evening includes awards, a raffle, and the announcement of the spring musical. Judges will select three of the plays to be performed again for the Best of Fest event at 7 p.m. on Dec. 16. Tickets are $3 (students/seniors) or $4 (general) each day and for Best of Fest. For those who wish to attend all three afternoons and Friday evening, a Fest Pass may be purchased for $12 (students/seniors) or $15 (general). For more information, visit www.woodinvilledrama.org.
