Update: Boston Marathon Explosions –Dozens Injured, Tell Loved Ones You are Okay

Dozens of people were injured by two explosions near the Boston marathon finish line Monday. Seven runners from Bothell and one from Woodinville had signed up to run the race.

Update 4:45 p.m. Monday. Here are the approximate results for Bothell runners who entered the Boston Marathon, according to the marathon website. Patch is unaware at this time if any of them were injured in the explosions near the finish line. Media is reporting the explosions took place around the 4:09 mark of the marathon.

Hui Jin finished the race in 3 hours 42 minutes.
Tina Neil finished in 3:59.
Julie Nelson finished in 3:54.
Suzanne Nester finished in 4:00.
Suzanne Robbins finished in 4:07.
Julia Walters-Burns did not finish and was last recorded at the 3:57 mark. Walters-Burns was running to support families with autism, according to a post on her Facebook page on Sunday

Update 2:50 p.m. Monday: Boston police now say a third incident at the JFK Library was not explosion-related and media reports say more than 100 people are being treated for injuries after two explosions near the Boston Marathon finish. Seven Bothell residents had signed up to run the Boston Marathon, according to the marathon website. Below is the list of Bothell runners:

On the Woodinville Facebook page, Crystal Thomas posted: Erin McPherson from Woodinville also ran and is safe and accounted for.

Update 1:53 p.m. Monday: A third explosion of some kind has happened in Boston at the JFK Library, according to Boston police.

If you were in the Boylston Street area near the marathon—or if your friends and family believe you may have been in the area—you can use the Red Cross's Safe and Well site to register yourself.

The site, activated by the Red Cross for the marathon explosion, allows users to search for you by name to check on your status. 

To register your name, go the Red Cross Safe and Well site. Google has also created a People Finder - click here for that site.

Update 1:45 p.m. Monday: According to the Boston Marathon website, Woodinville man Brett Withers ran the race and finished in approximately 2 hours 34 minutes. From media reports, the explosions occurred at about the 4:09 marathon mark. Patch will continue to update this story as we get more information.

Dozens of people were injured by two explosions near the Boston marathon finish line Monday. There are multiple reports of victims with missing limbs, bloodied heads and other extremely serious injuries, according to reports on Back Bay, MA, Patch.

Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency confirms there were explosions but has not released any further details. 

According to the Boston Marathon website, one person from Woodinville, Brett Withers, 25, was registered to run the marathon. It has not been confirmed yet if he ran the race.
