N.A.M.E.S. Foundation 5K/10K Sunday in Bothell
The 2nd annual event helps raise funds to fly family members to their wounded loved ones.
Registration is now open for the 2nd Annual N.A.M.E.S. Foundation 5K/10K Run/Walk, to be held on Sunday, Sep. 9 at Pop Keeney Stadium in Bothell.
Check-in and registration for participants starts at 7:15 a.m. and the run/walk starts at 8:00 a.m. The event courses are appropriate for all ages.
The N.A.M.E.S. Foundation was founded in honor of Nicholas Aaron Madrazo, a U.S. Marine killed in Afghanistan in 2008. Madrazo's parents formed the foundation to support U.S. service men and woman who are on duty all over the world. Funds raised during the event go towards helping families visit their wounded loved ones in a hospital or medical recovery center away from home.

Registration fees for the 5K event is $30 per person. Fees for the 10K event are $40 per person. Registration forms are available online.
The 5K/10K event will start and end at Pop Keeney Stadium located at 18603 Bothell Way N.E., Bothell.
