On March 31 the Northshore Wranglers “Team Wranglers” will run, walk and roll in the annual Can Do 5K/10K to help show that people of all abilities “Can Do." Offered by Northwest Special Families, the Center for Human Services, and in partnership with the Northshore YMCA, the annual Can Do 5K/10K raises awareness and money to support people with special needs.
Proceeds from the event support inclusive and specialized camps and activities for children with special needs, the YMCA Partners With Youth Campaign, as well as ongoing education and workshops for family support. For more details on the Can Do 5K/10K visit www.cando5k.org.
The Northshore Wranglers is a non-profit Special Recreation and Services Program offering weekly, year-round activities for people of all ages with intellectual, cognitive and developmental disabilities, their families and caregivers.
As an ongoing community giving campaign “Team Wranglers” promotes advocacy for people with special needs and also helps raise awareness for other non-profits in the community that support them.
