Poll: Who'll Take the 2011 Apple Cup, Huskies or Cougars?

The 2011 Apple Cup is Saturday Nov. 26 at Century Link Field in Seattle. Who will win?

This Saturday, the Washington State University Cougars (4-7, 2-6 Pac-12) will travel to Seattle to face the Washington Huskies (6-5, 4-4) in the Apple Cup at CenturyLink Field.

In this longstanding rivalry, the Huskies lead the Cougars in their 103 matchups by about 2 to 1 (66-31-6). The first meeting of the two teams was in 1900, according to the Washington State University Athletics department.

Last year, Washington won, 35-28 in Pullman, but WSU has had recent success in winning in Seattle.

This year, the game will be played at Century Link Field, as Husky Stadium undergoes renovations.

Gametime is set for 4:30 p.m. and will be televised by Versus. The game can also be heard across the IMG College Sports Radio Network.

I have lived in Woodinville for over18 years. For around 5 years after we moved there on any warmRead More summer night you could look up and see at least 3 balloons and many times 4,5,6 or 7 of them but that all stopped abruptly one year. The explanation we got was that the balloonist were following the French historical practice of awarding a bottle of champagne to any land owner who's land they happened to land on. Well, the state couldn't allow that since the balloonist had no liquor license. Don't you just love government?
