Woodinville High School Plans Pink-Out Friday for Breast Cancer Awareness

Woodinville football fans will don pink during Friday's football game for breast cancer awareness.

Woodinville High School football fans are going pink for one of the biggest games of the season Friday.

To promote breast cancer awareness, pink shirts with a green W were being sold and today the school distributed pink ribbons to students, according to student Samantha Pell. A banner across the Woodinville High School website said, "Remember Friday is "PINK OUT DAY" so wear pink to the Game."

On Friday, Woodinville (6-1, 3-0) will face the Bothell Cougars (4-3 overall, 3-0) for the KingCo 4A Crest Division title. The loser will have to win another game to make playoffs. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. at Pop Keeney Stadium in Bothell.
