Woodinville stunned Inglemoor in girls basketball Friday night, winning 56-46, The Seattle Times reported.
The Vikings, ranked No. 3 in Class 4A, suffered their first loss in 11 games. The Falcons jumped on Inglemoor early on the Vikings' home court and never let up, building a 32-19 halftime lead, according to The Seattle Times report.
The Vikings referred to the loss to Woodinville (10-2) as a wake-up call.
"I feel like we went in thinking we were too good and just underestimated them," Inglemoor wing Alex Hagen told The Seattle Times.
Earlier this season, Woodinville coach Scott Bullock lauded his team for their speed.
“We feel like this year, we really have a quick team; one of the quickest teams in KingCo, if not the quickest," Bullock said. "We are going to really try and apply a lot more pressure defensively.”
