Celebrate Woodinville Gets Funky

Celebrate Wooodinville brought the funk Wednesday evening with the sounds of Down North. Things really got fun when they started in with "The Bird," the 1983 song by The Time.

Lead singer Anthony “RenaGade” Briscoe jumped off stage and headed over to the beer and wine garden, where he (pretty easily) persuaded people to do 'the bird' along with him.

Next week's Celebrate Woodinville event on July 31 features Woodinville-based Emily McIntosh and her jazz, soul, and pop sounds a la Norah Jones, Adele, and Joss Stone.

Along with local wine and beer, from Chateau Ste. Michelle to Dirty Bucket and others,  there was an array of sweet and savory menu options to be had, from Barking Frog Mobile KitchenGobble RestaurantThe Milkman's DaughterPasta Nova, TNT Treats, The Twisted Cafe, Wellington Chocolates and Dogfather Catering - A smile in every bite

People were also doing what appeared to be synchronized juggling on the other side of the park. Anyone know if that was a special group?
