Recycling Event Win-Win-Win

Recycling Event Benefits Everyone it Touches from the Environment, to a Food Bank, to Medical services for children, to the Community-at-Large.

On Saturday, Sept. 17  event for the public. Windermere stages the event in its parking lot on 175th Street.

Everyone touched by this event shares in the success. For starters, participants donated $1,040 to the Maltby Food Bank.  In the bargain, two large barrels of food were collected.

This Windermere event has come to be known as the "win-win-win."

  • The community gets free recycling service for all manner of electronic goods. 
  • The environment gets cleaned up and protected from e-waste.  
  • The non-profit, recycling firm, 1 Green Planet, gets material it can turn into donations to medical charities: e.g, St. Jude's and the Hutchinson Cancer Center. 
  • We help feed people for the Maltby Food Bank. 
  • Windermere gets to say a proper thanks to the community that sustains its real estate business.
